I’m a product engineer who studies and builds systems that go beyond mere optimization. I explore human-to-human interactions to uncover challenges where software can drive meaningful change, enriching and augmenting human experiences. Ultimately, I curate and humanize technology to deliver thoughtful, human-centered solutions.
About
I'm currently a Data Science Fellow and Research Assistant at Brown University. Previously, I worked as a User Experience Researcher and Software Engineer, contributing to the growth of various startups. I have also led engineering teams at Brown: Brown Entrepreneurship Program(EP), Brown-RISD XR, and Brown-RISD STEAM.
Background
I grew up in South Korea, where I pursued design with the goal of becoming an architect. However, in high school, I discovered my passion for the intersection of design and computer science. I was captivated by the scalability and impact of well-engineered digital products, as well as the fast-paced development cycles that bring ideas to life.
